This week is "THEME" week at The Pink Elephant and we are looking for projects that are BACK TO SCHOOL related!

Come on over to The Pink Elephant challenge blog and see what the rest of Ella's girls have for you to drool over...omgosh, these girls knocked it out of the park this week! Happy crafting!!

Merry Monday #124 {Gifts/Pressies!}

Happy "Merry Monday!"

My apologies for a late posting this morning, but I spent the day in the sprayer with my hubby yesterday and what was supposed to be a fairly short day turned out to be a full day! So, needless to say, we didn't get home until around 11 p.m. and I was in need of a shower and my bed....

For this week's challenge at Merry Monday, miss Deanne is our hostess challenge and here's what she's thowin' at ya:

 For my card, I used a new to me pre-colored digi from The Paper Shelter...isn't this penguin just the CUTEST amongst all those pressies and cocoa?!

My sentiment is from the Christmas Sampler from Paper Smooches - works perfect!

Come on over to the Merry Monday blog and see what the rest of the Merry Makers have for you - their creations are amazing this week!! Play along with us - we'd love to see what you come up with! Cheers!

Make a Wish! {Embossing at Sweet Stampin'!}

Happy Saturday everyone! It's been a busy time around the Turner house the past couple weeks. Gearing up for school to start again on Tuesday; setting up our son with his own truck, insurance, registration; re-siding our house and taking the deck off so the contractors can work....both kids worked all this past week. Ya, been a little nutso!! LOL  I will be thankful when we are back into some form of a routine!

This week at Sweet Stampin' we are having one of my favorite technique challenges:

EMBOSSING!

Our weekly sponsor is Hobbycutz offering a £7.50 voucher:

I am not sure if you can see if very well but I used my large polka dot embossing folder on the black background layer. You may have to click on the photo to enlarge it. This super cute girlie is from Lacy Sunshine. The inside sentiment is stamped with "Make a Wish!" from Papertrey Ink....

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes
Southern Girls - Textures (I did dry embossing)
Divas by Design - Happy Birthday

The super-talented Sweeties have created gorgeous creations for you - come check them out at the Sweet Stampin' Challenge blog and link up your project for us as well. Be sure to include stamping somewhere on your project! Happy crafting!!

Merry Monday #123 {Use a Wreath}

Happy "Merry Monday!"

This week, our challenge hostess is none other than miss BONNIE and she's wanting to see a wreath on your Christmas card - check it out:

While I was visiting Leanne last week, I came across this gorgeous snowflake wreath that she had in her die cut stash! I asked her if I could have it as I had a "vision" of what I would make for my card. I added some sparkly gems and embossed the top half of the black panel to mimic the inspiration picture (you might have to click on the picture to make it bigger, but its there LOL). Hope you like it:

Thanks a bunch for stopping in this morning - be sure to hop on over to the MM Challenge blog HERE to see what GORGEOUS creations the rest of the Merry Makers made for you....

See you back here in a couple hours for another installment from The Pink Elephant! Cheers!

STS #27 {Saying Goodbye}

Welcome back to another sketch challenge from Seize the Sketch! It is with a sad heart (but an understanding one at that) that I inform you this will be the LAST sketch from STS. Lesley has decided to close the challenge blog down and move aside for new and upcoming challenge blogs to have their turn. It has been SO AMAZING working with this team of super talented ladies and the friendships I have made will live on in other cyber areas, that I can guarantee! Thank you so much, Lesley, and all the girls for an amazing time here at Seize the Sketch xoxoxoxo

This week, our "sketcher" is none other than miss Cathy and here is her layout:

I took the liberty of turning my card and doing a landscape layout as my images were a bit too large to do the portrait layout....I really loved this sketch, Cathy! A person can go totally CAS or jazz it up real good! Awesome!!

By images are from byLORi Designs and the sentiment is from the "Think Big Favorites #20" by Papertrey Ink.

Please be sure to check out what the rest of the uber-talented DT has created for you using Cathy's sketch - click HERE! Cheers!

{Anything Goes} at Top Tip Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday!!

This week at Top Tip Tuesday, we are having an ANYTHING GOES challenge! Yipee! Those are so much fun - a time where designers can pick whatever they want and give'r! The sponsor for this challenge is Bugaboo Stamps and I picked this cute Snowman Topper image to use with my project this week!

One lucky Random winner will win 7 Digi images for their choice

 I love these country cutie pie stamps from Bugaboo! They are so much fun to bring to life with Copics. The layout and colors were all my idea - I wanted to get that rustic country feel to the colors etc. I added some faux stitching/dots around the image on the black layer as well.....the sentiment is from a retired There She Goes set called 'Tis the Season.....

Click HERE and it will take you over to the TTT challenge blog where you can see what the super-talented team created for you! Be sure to link up your project as well for your chance at 7 free digis! Thanks, Bugaboo! xoxoxo

4 CC #207 {Lime Green, Turquoise and Pink!}

Happy 4 Crafty Chicks Thursday!

This week miss Tina is looking for certain colors on projects....check it out:

4 CC #207 {Lime Green, Turquoise and Pink}

I love this color combo!! Especially the neon's that are coming out lately....takes me right back to the 80's LOL...my image is a cutie-patootie MFT Pure Innocence and the sentiment is from MFT's set called "Friend Request."

The Pink Elephant #263 {Stencils}

This week at The Pink Elephant it's "Technique Week!" and we're looking for a card/layout made using stencils!

I used to have some of the embossing paste that everyone is using these days, but not anymore. I decided to cut out a stencil of my own with my houndstooth die and then I sponged some blue ink onto my orange layer and used that as my background!

My image is a fun Kenny K colored up with Copics then cut out with my favorite stitched rectangle dies! Hope you enjoy it!

Be sure to click HERE to head over to the Pink Elephant challenge blog and see what Ella's girls have created for you! We would love it if you would join us so we can see what all you create with your stencils! Cheers!

Merry Monday #121 {Pine Cones, Greenery and Plaid Ribbon!}

Welcome to Merry Monday!

Miss Wendy is our challenge hostess this week and she is looking for the following combination:

I did not have ONE pine cone or bough stamp in all of my stash!!! GASP! I went online in search of a digi that I could use and I found this GORGEOUS one on Etsy, called Winged Images - click HERE to see the store....

...the only ribbon that came remotely CLOSE to plaid was this brown gingham I had in my stash. Sorry, Wendy! LOL...
